UVA/UVB In-Vitro Testing

Sunscreen products have always been one of the focuses of everyone's attention. The "broad spectrum" sunscreen function means the ability to resist UVB and UVA at the same time. Although many available ingredients can filter out UVB well, few ingredients can filter out UVA. In order to achieve a higher SPF value, some manufacturers of sunscreen products must increase ingredients that can filter UVB, but this also leads to an imbalance between UVA and UVB protection. UVA/UVB in vitrotesting is used to determine the comprehensive protection level of sunscreen products against UVA/UVB.

Our testing equipment:

• We are equipped with 2 Solar Light Company multi-port solar simulators, 6 single-port solar simulators, a spex SKINSKAN spectrofluorometer, LabSphere and Helias spectrophotometer, PMA-UVA/UVB/SUV detectors, and Optronic Laboratories OL754 spectroradiometer system with NIST traceable calibration system.
