Human Collagen IV Protein is expressed from E. coli system. It contains partial length alpha 2 chain of type IV collagen (aa 1487-1703) with a molecular weight at 27.4 kDa. As a non-collagenous C-terminal fragment of type IV collagen α2 chain, Canstatin, has been identified as an endogenous anti-angiogenic and anti-tumor factor.
